Connected & Engaged in 2025

Charging into the New Year like a Bull in a Glitter-Covered China Shop

Hey MYLO Mag Peeps,

As the holidays come and go, I find myself reflecting on a season that looked much different this year. For our family, it was the first Christmas without my sister, and also the first with my nieces and their families joining our inner circle of celebrating. It was a bittersweet time—filled with both a deep sense of loss and a new kind of togetherness.

While the absence of their parents, who both passed in May, was deeply felt, what emerged was a celebration that boasted so much love, laughter, and the kind of happy memories we are all meant to cherish during this season. It wasn’t the same, but it was beautiful in its own way. It’s a reminder that life changes, and so do we—but love remains, and it leads us to create new traditions and find joy even in unfamiliar places.

As we step into 2025, this sense of renewal and embracing change fills me with excitement and hope. At MYLO Brand Studio, we’re carrying this energy forward, looking to refresh and reimagine how we connect with our clients. Some of our marketing strategies this year will look a little different—just like our holidays did. And why not? MYLO Mag worked; it helped us stand out, share stories, and serve with purpose. So, why not continue the journey of trying new methods to elevate our brand and yours?

We’re embracing bold ideas, creative strategies, and thoughtful innovations to ensure we not only serve our current clients but also reach those who haven’t yet experienced what MYLO can bring to their businesses. Change can be challenging, but it also brings opportunity, and 2025 is full of it.

Here’s to a year of connection, engagement, and growth—both in business and in life. Thank you for being part of our journey. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead, for all of us.

Wishing you joy, success, and a fresh start to 2025.

Warmly,

Angie H

What’s This 12 Months of Gifting You Speak Of!

How can we bring back some vintage values to our lives?

Do it Differently

As we kick off 2025, I have to ask: when was the last time you truly connected? Not just sent a text or liked a photo, but really connected—with another person, your surroundings, or even the moment you’re in. If you’re sitting there scrolling on your phone, wondering if the answer is “Does texting my dog count?”… well, we need to talk.

This year, we’re rolling out a theme that’s become more than just a buzzword for us. Connected and Engaged isn’t a resolution; it’s a call to action. And while I’m saving the grand reveal of how we came up with it for May (because what’s life without a little suspense?), here’s the gist: we all need to wake up and smell the coffee. Or the dinner table conversations. Or the soccer carpool—whatever it is that makes up your moments, big or small.

The Clock is Ticking, Not TikTok but, tick…tock

Let’s face it. Technology has given us amazing tools, but it’s also turned us into a society of headphone-wearing, screen-tapping, distraction-juggling experts. Look around: families are “together” but miles apart at the same time. Kids are glued to devices in restaurants. Adults? We’re just bigger kids, really, hiding behind emails and TikTok videos while ignoring the person sitting across the table. It’s weird. It’s wrong. And honestly? It’s time for a reset.

That’s where Connected and Engaged comes in. We’re on a mission to bring back the meaningful, the magical, and yes, the messy parts of being human. We’ve taken inspiration from the vibes of the 1950s and ’60s—an era where family time, neighborhood playdates, and shared moments were the norm. But don’t worry, we’re not asking you to toss your iPhone out the window or start hand-churning butter. We know it’s 2025, and we’re embracing progress. What we’re looking for is balance.

How do we merge the wholesome simplicity of the past with the reality of today’s fast-paced, tech-driven world? That’s the question we’re tackling, and our first big answer is something we’re calling 12 Months of Gifting.

SIT AT THE TABLE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY - ENGAGE IN SOMETHING YOU’VE NEVER PLAYED IN YOUR LIFE. YOU’LL LOVE IT

BIG PINK BOX

Picture this: instead of dropping one big holiday gift at the end of the year, we’re spreading the joy—and the connection—all year long. Enter Big Pink Box, our latest brainchild. Every month, our clients will receive a gift that encourages connection, engagement, and a chance to step back and savor the moment. Whether it’s a game to play with your family, a puzzle to solve with your team, or a conversation starter for the dinner table, or something awesome that makes you eager to engage with co-workers and friends, these gifts are about creating experiences, not just collecting stuff. And here’s the fun part: each gift comes with a sticker. Collect them all, and by December, you’ll unlock our 2026 theme. It’s basically a scavenger hunt for grown-ups. Who said work can’t be fun?

We’ve even enlisted a few partners to join the ride, helping us test, refine, and elevate this journey. Why? Because we believe branding and marketing should feel less like a chore and more like a bomb-diggity experience. (Yes, I just said bomb-diggity. No, I’m not taking it back.)

So, if you’re reading this and wondering, “How do I get in on these amazing monthly gifts?” here’s your answer: reach out. Tell us what you love about our merch, what makes your brand tick, and how we can be the partner that helps you knock it out of the park in 2025. We’re all about connections this year, and we want you to be part of ours.

Let’s make this the year we unplug from the distractions and plug into what really matters. Because when you’re connected and engaged, life isn’t just better. It’s epic. So, grab your sticker book and let’s do this thing!

CONNECTED & ENGAGED

If you truly want to be connected and engaged, then the first step is taking action and we really have done that for you. You aren’t alone, so don’t be a silly ding-dong poopoo face that only wants to sit in the lonely creases of your couch or have your legs go numb on the toilet seat by scrolling your phone tirelessly. The real satisfaction in life comes from the connections we have with people. The real ones that are in full 3D in your life. It’s time to shake, rattle and roll - that means move your booty, dance, sing karaoke, play games, go to the park, make your meetings ones that are outdoors going on a walk. Change your narrative. We’re right here with you. Maybe even listen to some old crooners from the 50’s - their voices and music are magic to your soul. You’ve got this Daddy-o!
